Depending on the circumstances, I get asked a lot of questions about a lot of different things. It seems that folks think I should be a repository for everything they don’t know.
Case in point: A guy makes a poor choice and gets arrested. The family calls me: Do I know a lawyer? How can they get him out of jail? If he said he did it, is that the same as a confession? If he hadn’t been taking his medicine, would that still be an admission of guilt. What if there is no physical evidence? What about … ? What if …?
Sorry. I spent a lot of money on an MDiv. While that overqualifies me for working at Wal-Mart or McDonalds and underqualifies me for employment just about everywhere else, I don’t feel like going to law school or medical school or technical school or business school.
